A bold mashup of two Italian favorites—this pizza turns chicken Parmesan into a crispy, cheesy pizza base! Juicy ground chicken is seasoned, breaded, and fried to perfection, then topped with rich tomato sauce, bubbly mozzarella, and fresh basil. Ingredients

For the Chicken Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

For Breading:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 3 cups seasoned bread crumbs

For Frying:

  • Oil, for deep frying

For Topping:

  • 1 cup tomato or marinara sauce (try this homemade version)
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1️⃣ Season & Form the Chicken Base:
• In a food processor, blend the chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until smooth.
• Press the mixture into a 10-inch (25 cm) cake pan lined with plastic wrap.
• Flatten evenly, wrap the top, and freeze 2–4 hours until solid.

2️⃣ Bread the Chicken Crust:
• Place flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs in three separate shallow dishes.
• Remove chicken disc from freezer, unwrap, and dredge in flour.
• Dip into the eggs, then coat thoroughly with bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
• Freeze for 15 more minutes to firm up.

3️⃣ Fry to Perfection:
• Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 400°F (200°C).
• Carefully lower the breaded chicken disc into the hot oil. Fry both sides until deep golden brown.
• Transfer to a wire rack and blot with paper towels.

4️⃣ Add Toppings & Broil:
• Preheat your oven to broil.
• Spread tomato sauce evenly over the fried chicken base.
• Top with mozzarella slices and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
• Broil for 5–8 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.

5️⃣ Finish & Serve:
• Top with chopped fresh basil.
• Slice and serve immediately while hot and melty!
