✨ Featuring fresh strawberry sauce, smooth vanilla milkshake, whipped cream, and crushed cookie topping this is dessert heaven in a glass!

Ingredients

Strawberry Sauce (Base):
• 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp lemon juice

Milkshake Base:
• 2 cups vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup whole milk
• ½ cup fresh strawberries
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whipped Topping:
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tbsp powdered sugar
• ½ tsp vanilla

Crumble Topping:
• 6 golden Oreos or shortbread cookies, crushed
• 1 tbsp freeze-dried strawberries (optional)
• 1 tbsp melted butter

Garnishes:
• Melted white chocolate or frosting (for rim)
• 2 strawberries (whole, for topping)
• Pink sprinkles (optional)
• Striped straws

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Strawberry Sauce:
• Simmer strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice for 8–10 mins.
• Let cool and spoon into glass bottoms.

2️⃣ Prepare the Crumble:
• Crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Add dried strawberries if using.

3️⃣ Blend the Milkshake:
• Combine ice cream, milk, strawberries, and vanilla in a blender.
• Blend until smooth. Pour over the strawberry sauce layer.

4️⃣ Whip the Cream:
• Beat cream with powdered sugar and vanilla to soft peaks.
• Add to piping bag or snip a corner of a zip-top bag.

5️⃣ Decorate the Glasses:
• Rim with melted white chocolate or frosting.
• Top with whipped cream, cookie crumble, sprinkles, and a whole berry.
• Add straws and serve immediately!

Notes

  • Use Fresh Strawberries for Best Flavor:
Fresh, ripe strawberries offer the brightest, most natural sweetness and color. If using frozen, thaw and drain them first to prevent a watery shake.

  • Chill Your Glasses:
For a frosty milkshake and better presentation, place your serving glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before assembly.

  • Customize the Crumble:
Shortbread cookies or Golden Oreos work great, but graham crackers, Nilla Wafers, or even cake crumbs make delicious alternatives.

  • Make It Vegan-Friendly:
Use dairy-free ice cream, plant-based milk (like oat or almond), and coconut whipped cream for a vegan version. Choose vegan-friendly cookies, too.

  • Thicken It Naturally:
Want a thicker texture? Use less milk or add a spoonful of Greek yogurt or frozen banana slices to the blender.

  • Decorate the Rim for Extra Flair:
Dip the rim of the glass in melted white chocolate or frosting and roll it in cookie crumbs or sprinkles before filling the milkshake.

  • Serve Immediately:
This milkshake is best enjoyed fresh. If you need to prep ahead, keep components separate and assemble right before serving.

  • Add More Strawberry Flavor:
Stir in a spoonful of strawberry jam or use freeze-dried strawberry powder in the blend for an extra punch of berry flavor.
