Notes
-
Use Fresh Strawberries for Best Flavor:
Fresh, ripe strawberries offer the brightest, most natural sweetness and color. If using frozen, thaw and drain them first to prevent a watery shake. -
Chill Your Glasses:
For a frosty milkshake and better presentation, place your serving glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before assembly. -
Customize the Crumble:
Shortbread cookies or Golden Oreos work great, but graham crackers, Nilla Wafers, or even cake crumbs make delicious alternatives. -
Make It Vegan-Friendly:
Use dairy-free ice cream, plant-based milk (like oat or almond), and coconut whipped cream for a vegan version. Choose vegan-friendly cookies, too. -
Thicken It Naturally:
Want a thicker texture? Use less milk or add a spoonful of Greek yogurt or frozen banana slices to the blender. -
Decorate the Rim for Extra Flair:
Dip the rim of the glass in melted white chocolate or frosting and roll it in cookie crumbs or sprinkles before filling the milkshake. -
Serve Immediately:
This milkshake is best enjoyed fresh. If you need to prep ahead, keep components separate and assemble right before serving. -
Add More Strawberry Flavor:
Stir in a spoonful of strawberry jam or use freeze-dried strawberry powder in the blend for an extra punch of berry flavor.
