This drink is the ultimate summer showstopper! 💙 Swirls of icy vanilla cream blend with vibrant blue raspberry Kool-Aid for a dessert drink that’s sweet, tart, and totally Instagram-worthy. Topped with fluffy whipped cream and a dusting of crushed Kool-Aid powder, it’s the perfect frozen treat for birthdays, cookouts, or anytime you need a blast of color and flavor. 🍧✨

Ingredients

• 2 cups ice
• 1 cup milk or cream
• ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
• 1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla instant pudding mix
• 1 packet blue raspberry Kool-Aid
• 1 cup water
• 2 tbsp sugar (for Kool-Aid)
• Whipped cream, for topping
• Crushed Kool-Aid powder, for garnish

Instructions

1️⃣ Blend the Cream Base:
In a blender, combine ice, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla pudding mix. Blend until smooth and thick.

2️⃣ Prepare the Kool-Aid:
In a small bowl, mix Kool-Aid packet with 1 cup water and sugar. Stir until dissolved.

3️⃣ Layer the Drink:
Spoon a little Kool-Aid syrup into the bottom of each clear glass.
Add a scoop of blended cream base, then alternate layers of Kool-Aid syrup and cream until glasses are full.

4️⃣ Swirl & Top:
Use a spoon or skewer to lightly swirl the layers. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed Kool-Aid powder over the top for extra flair.

Notes

  • Thicker Swirl Layers?
For a more defined swirl effect, make sure your cream base is thick. Use slightly less milk or add extra ice during blending. You can even chill the base for 10 minutes before layering.

  • Make It Fizzy:
Replace the water in your Kool-Aid mix with chilled club soda or lemon-lime soda for a bubbly twist. Be sure to layer slowly to preserve the fizz.

  • Fresh Fruit Boost:
Add slices of strawberries, blueberries, or a spoonful of fruit puree between layers for added flavor and nutrition. This also adds stunning contrast and a natural texture.

  • Dairy-Free Option:
Swap whole milk and condensed milk for almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk. Use a dairy-free vanilla pudding mix or coconut cream for a vegan twist.

  • Storage Tip:
You can prep the cream base and Kool-Aid syrup ahead of time. Store them separately in airtight containers for up to 2–3 days in the fridge or freeze and reblend before serving.

  • Perfect for Parties:
Turn this drink into a DIY Swirl Bar for birthdays or cookouts! Offer a few Kool-Aid flavors, cream base pitchers, toppings, and let guests build their own.

  • Garnish Ideas:
Finish your drink with whipped cream, crushed Kool-Aid powder, edible glitter, sprinkles, or mini candy for an extra layer of fun and presentation.
