Notes
-
Make Ahead Tip: You can assemble the egg rolls a day in advance and refrigerate or freeze them until ready to cook. This makes them perfect for parties or holidays.
-
Frying vs. Baking: Deep frying delivers the crispiest texture, but air frying and baking are great healthier options. Air-fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes or bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
-
Flavor Variations: Swap cherry pie filling for blueberry, raspberry, or apple. Add mini chocolate chips or a pinch of cinnamon for a flavor twist.
-
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven to restore crispness.
-
Freezing: Freeze uncooked rolls on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag. Fry or bake straight from frozen—just add a couple of extra minutes.
-
Serving Ideas: Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate or caramel, or serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
