Notes
-
Spice Level Tip: Adjust the sriracha in the Bang Bang sauce to suit your heat preference. Start with 1 teaspoon for mild and add more if you like it spicy.
-
Air Fryer Option: To air fry instead of pan-fry, preheat to 400°F, lightly oil the basket, and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway for even crisping.
-
Make Ahead: You can prep the sauce and season the salmon up to a day in advance. Store them separately in the fridge and cook fresh for best results.
-
Serving Ideas: Serve as a party appetizer on skewers, over jasmine rice for dinner, or tucked into lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
-
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven to maintain crispiness. Avoid microwaving as it softens the texture.
-
Gluten-Free Friendly: This recipe is naturally gluten-free if you ensure the chili sauce and mayo are certified GF.
-
Protein Swap: Try this same method with shrimp, tofu, or even chicken chunks for a versatile Bang Bang twist.
