Description

🔥🍫 Turn your favorite boxed brownie mix into a melty, marshmallow-loaded dream! These S’mores Brownies are sweet, gooey, and irresistibly fudgy with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 (18.3 oz) family-size brownie mix (for 13×9″ pan)
    • 2 large eggs (or as listed on box for cakey texture)
    • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
    • ⅓ cup water
    • 6 graham crackers, broken into bite-size pieces
    • 2 cups mini marshmallows
    • 12 snack-size Hershey’s chocolate bars, broken into squares (or 2–3 full bars or 2 cups chocolate chips)

Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Brownie Batter:
• Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
• In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water.
• Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan and spread evenly.

2️⃣ Initial Bake:
• Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with just a few moist crumbs.

3️⃣ Top with S’mores Goodness:
• Remove from oven.
• Immediately sprinkle graham cracker pieces, mini marshmallows, and chocolate squares on top.

4️⃣ Finish Baking:
• Return to oven for 5 more minutes—until the marshmallows puff and the chocolate softens.

5️⃣ Cut & Serve:
• Slice while warm using a greased knife, or let cool completely for neater squares.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper in your baking pan for easy removal and clean-up. It also helps prevent marshmallows from sticking.

  • Grease your knife before cutting—this makes slicing through gooey marshmallows and chocolate much easier.

  • Customize toppings: Feel free to add peanut butter chips, caramel drizzle, or even chopped nuts for variation.

  • Gluten-Free Version: Simply use a certified gluten-free brownie mix and GF graham crackers.

  • Toasted Finish Option: For extra flavor, use a kitchen torch to toast marshmallows after baking for that perfect golden color.

  • Freezer Friendly: Cool completely, slice, and freeze in layers separated by parchment for up to 2 months.

  • Serving Tip: These are delicious warm, but even better the next day after setting—perfect for make-ahead party treats or lunchbox desserts!
