Notes
-
Chill Time Is Key: For best results, chill each layer separately before adding the next. The total chill time may vary based on fridge settings, but overnight is ideal for clean slicing and full flavor.
-
Make Ahead Friendly: You can prepare this cheesecake 1–2 days in advance. Just add the fresh strawberries and crunch topping on the day of serving to maintain texture.
-
Customize It: Swap strawberries for raspberries, blueberries, or a mixed-berry combo. You can also add lemon or orange zest to the cheesecake layer for a citrus twist.
-
Crust Variations: No Golden Oreos? Use vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or gingersnaps. For a chocolate version, try chocolate grahams or chocolate sandwich cookies.
-
Freezer Friendly: This cheesecake freezes well for up to 2 months. Wrap tightly in plastic and foil, and thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
-
Lighter Option: Use low-fat cream cheese, coconut whipped topping, or reduced sugar jam to cut calories and fat. It will still taste indulgent!
-
Serving Suggestion: Garnish with extra crunch topping and whole strawberries for visual impact. Pairs beautifully with iced tea, rosé wine, or lemonade.
